Donate to our Endowment Fund
FarmFolk CityFolk's Endowment Fund allows you to create a lasting legacy of your foresight and generosity to FarmFolk/CityFolk. The donation you make, whether during your lifetime or afterwards through a deferred arrangement such as a bequest, will be invested in perpetuity and will generate income for FarmFolk's work towards a sustainable food system. Vancity provides matching interest for funds of up to $15,000 for Named Funds. This allows you to double the impact of your donations. If you are interested in making a donation to our Endowment Fund, please contact us at 604-730-0450 (or email info@ffcf.bc.ca) or call toll-free from anywhere in BC 1-888-730-0452 and we will send you the appropriate forms. Tax receipts are issued for donations to FarmFolk CityFolk's Endowment Fund.
Volunteers
FarmFolk CityFolk
operates with a small staff and a wonderful pool of volunteers. Because we have
limited staff resources to coordinate volunteers, we generally require a minimum
of a 3 to 6 month commitment from potential volunteers. We also welcome long-term
volunteers who are interested in becoming part of one of our Volunteer Teams.
Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in
applying for any of them, please complete our Volunteer
Application (pdf) and email, fax or mail it back to us. If you are interested in volunteering for Feast of Fields (our annual fundraising events) please visit our Feast of Fields website and contact the appropriate coordinator.
Join our Events Team! Help us set up, staff the welcome table, serve food, be bartender, help with security, clean up - there's lots to do! Give us a call and help make our events a success!
