Preparing the Harvest with Chef Ian Lai - September 17th:

After a summer in the garden it's time to enjoy the season's bounty! There's no better way than to get in the kitchen with Chef Ian Lai, a leader in Vancouver culinary instruction and seed to table garden programs. This workshop, held in the professional kitchen classroom of North West Culinary Academy, will explore a menu that highlight seasonal, local ingredients. The selections will feature ingredients harvested that week, so enjoy a taste of the freshest fruit crumble, a most nutritious quick bread, and a mouth-watering local Sockeye dish.
